In December 2022, two non-profit education companies (ASCD, ISTE) came together as one. The two international organizations bring together best practices in the use of technology and evidence-based pedagogy to provide educators with a more holistic set of tools, resources and professional development to advance learning for students.

It became clear that leveraging the organization’s strengths required a catalyst to effectively communicate these benefits to our audience and support our sales efforts. This catalyst needed to make the diverse array of products and business areas from both entities engaging and easy to grasp.

This visually depicts the available resources for educators to advance in their careers. It’s designed to simplify the understanding of the diverse range of products and services offered by ASCD and ISTE. While not every educator may require all offerings, the map illustrates how different topic areas are encompassed within these resources, providing a clear overview of the available pathways for professional development.

Look and Feel

The design goal is to have the audience immerse themselves in a captivating visual journey with the creatively designed piece that seamlessly blends authentic photography, with a high level brief description of ASCD and ISTE products and services. Each image is selected because of its authenticity (versus stock or ai) so it may resonate with their viewers, offering a mirror to their aspirations and identities. Through intentional design, this immersive experience not only facilitates discussions between sales and district leaders but also fosters a deeper connection with their audience. As educators engage with the visual narrative, they are prompted to envision themselves in similar contexts, sparking conversations about how tailored professional development can elevate their practice. This holistic approach ensures that the creative piece serves as a catalyst for meaningful dialogue, driving collaborative efforts to enhance education through innovative solutions.
